PoorMD.com started as a personal finance website for medical students and residents. After five years of maintaining the website, my interests in personal finance pinnacled with my ebook, First Aid for Personal Finance: What Every Medical Student and Resident Should Know.
After that, my interests shifted to drawing and doodling. This eventually resulted in a picture book about medical school called Oh Doctor, the Places You Will Go.
Realizing that I am neither artist nor author, I naturally turned to comics. What better way for an author who can't write or an artist who can't draw to express himself than through comics.
So when I'm not spending time with my family, helping the kids with their homework, or working as a radiology resident, I spend my time creating these comics.
